Some are mentally ill and others are drug addicts. Once we end the war on drugs, we can use the excess prison space to house the mentally ill and deport the remaining homeless (the ones that are about the life) to some us territory island (with no current population) in the pacific.

I dont live there but im there alot, maybe 10x a year. I usually like to jog in the morning but the ammonia of piss and stench of shyt is so strong.

The person i usually stay with lives in a place that cost... well alot of fukkin money. And even on her street its full of shyt and homeless. So its something that affects all classes
