Why did people start associating UFOs with aliens?

It literally just means "unidentified flying objects."

Knowing that the U.S. spent the entire 20th-century producing various aircraft, largely for war and defensive purposes, why would people assume that the military aircraft they're witnessing, generally near military bases, is somehow extraterrestrial?

Definitely. The UFO presence really only started after we developed nukes. Maybe our conventional missiles and bullets couldn’t hurt them before, so we weren’t a problem for them. But now we can split atoms and maybe the aliens can’t defend that. If there were some monkeys going around using sticks, humans wouldn’t really care, but if those monkeys started making guns, humans would care a lot.

Discussions in those circles are saying that entities/aliens indeed say that the nuclear bombs really caught their attention.

Why did people start associating UFOs with aliens?

It literally just means "unidentified flying objects."

Knowing that the U.S. spent the entire 20th-century producing various aircraft, largely for war and defensive purposes, why would people assume that the military aircraft they're witnessing, generally near military bases, is somehow extraterrestrial?

I think because military personnel are coming out and saying we don't have the technological capabilities for these types of transmedium crafts.

If the reports are correct, they are Several decades ahead of our understanding of technology.

It would be the biggest intelligence blunder of all time if this was somehow Russia or China.

And it isn't us. There is no way we have technology that can break the sound barrier like that going from in the air to underwater and back out seamlessly. These things don't even have visible propulsion.

They just had a 60 Minutes segment on UFOs/UAPs as well, and I'm trying to find a link for the whole thing, but essentially from what I'm seeing and hearing online... Trusted officials and pilots are saying that as it stands, the things that those UFOs are doing contradicts what we currently know of physics. None of their aircrafts can do what these objects can do, and while they're not gonna outright say "aliens", you can sorta guess that's what they're implying.

I mean, give or take 100 years ago (1903, to be exact), we first invented flying machines. In 1969, we went to the moon. Who knows what kind of technology we might have now, and even then, that still might not compare to what these folks have seen and investigated. People say "Russia or China is behind this!" but I'm not so convinced. That Israeli ex-Space Program Head said they exist and that countries are in communication with a "Galactic Federation" (doubtful that's the name, but obviously said to give an idea). On top of that, the UFO phenomenon has been ramping up more and more lately. June 1st is approaching fast, and that report gets released to the public... Get ready for things to get super hectic, because it's quite possible that they know way more than they're letting on. Only question is whether the general public will get access to that information.

It's interesting though because you have numerous instances of UFOs being seen throughout time. For all we know, one alien breh could've stepped out of a ship one day, a human saw him and called him a god, and they went . And that's how Greek Mythology started.
