Portland?

Lopez and Aldridge can beat them up in the post (Bogut could hold his own for a bit, Lee...eh). Unless Aldridge and Lopez have been slacking lately and I haven't been made aware of this.

GS would still beat them though.

and what about the other matchups?
who's gonna Stop Steph? Batum? Lillard?
Steph put them on that Summer Jam Screen last time they played.
Warriors are a VASTLY superior team to Portland top to bottom and it's not even up for debate
you really can't be this dense
thanks for the hard-hitting analysis

OP is right even though the Warriors won by 10 last night it was a close game for 3 quarters.
NO doesn't have a closer (AD is still a year away) and if they did they would of stolen that game.
Warriors dominated the regular season and had one of the greatest home court advantages in the history of the league. To see a Pelicans team hanging around who had their starting PG out (Jrue) their starting SF battling knee issues and a head coach who doesn't know what he's doing is disturbing. I know the Warriors fans here won't admit it but GS isn't as dominant as they had people believing coming into the playoffs. I would not be surprised if GS loses game 3. Warriors rely heavily on Curry making shots and giving guys open looks so do many other teams when it comes to their superstars but taking out a 6'2 shooting PG is a lot easier than a 6'8 SF or a 6'11 PF/C. I would favor who ever comes out of the Clippers/Spurs series or the Rockets to come out of the West.

It was close for 3 quarters and 7 minutes into the 4th last night.

The people on here are just excited to see the warriors have such a great season, but the reality is that they are very vulnerable. If the Pelicans had JRue Holiday yesterday they probably win and lose home court advantage to the #8 seed.

Of course the ATL
OP got a lil outta hand but overall he's right. I think the other thing is that this is playoff basketball and people don't realize that you don't just come out and win by 20 every night like in the regular season. Teams get the same time off, get to gameplan, etc. I don't think NO beats GS with a fully healthy team in GS or is even a threat to win this series, but they have thrown some looks at GS that I think MEM or LAC/SA can exploit

They're not getting exposed by the Pelicans they're getting exposed by playoff level basketball. They have elite talent there's no doubt about that but they just look more interested in puttin on a show than winning. I've been saying it all year they're going to get exposed at some point. Unless they start getting real serious I could see them going all the way. All that behind the back no look passes and shooting from 30ft needs to stay in the regular season this is the playoffs

No trolling at all:

Do people really believe that the Dubs are a showboating type of team??

Maybe it's the homerism (again), but I just don't see that at all.....

Portland and Memphis have also been decimated by injuries.

A healthy Grizz team would punk the shyt out of them Golden Boys.

i mean they kinda are :yeshrug: after every basket they celebrate like they just won the world cup. draymond green makes a layup and pounds his chest like he just posterized Shaq. its kind of comical tbh :heh:

steph and klay take a bunch of rediculous and terrible shots. the pelicans couldnt capitilize on the opportunities the warriors handed them but there will be teams down the line who will if they continue to do stupid shyt like that.

to say they were exposed is a bit much and mostly false. they just have some really bad habits they need to get rid of.

jump shooting teams can't win rings. nikkas ran thru the league in the regular season and are now struggling at home against a team that had no business being the playoffs (if okc was healthy).

grizzlies must be salivating at the matchup. i got them over the warriors in 6 games.

yea but this is a defensive jump shooting team. HUGE DIFFERENCE.
