Those numbers are wildly inflated. It's a task force/budget/optics thing. They seized about 250k on the day of the actuak takedown.
You can see what they seized over the course of a 2 year/18 month long term investigation. it's not nothing, but it's standard for what a group like this would be doing,
They are also counting taking down a grow op in Southern Cali as part of this, that was probably supplying them.
so when a post says he was arrested with 200m in drugs, that is not only fundamentally untrue, it's not even really true about the whole case.
- Methamphetamine | 496 pounds | $22,458,880
- Cocaine | 57.21 kilos | $5,748,296
- Fentanyl | 7.1 kilos | $707,273.60
- Marijuana | 55,248 pounds | $250,162,944
- Heroin | 1.3 kilos | $130,859.20
- GHB | 5.9 pounds | $267,150
- Mushrooms | 755.8 grams | $15,116
I can tell you right now they are doing some weird shyt with weighing the marijuana. And they are inflating the numbers to retail distribution in GA.
They seized like a farm and are weighing unprocessed weed, or like the yield potential, it's not 55,000 pounds. For a group like this in rural GA, 50 bricks is heavy enough weight. Those are like 20k on the westcoast. Something like that. But they probably seized 4 shipments of 12 kilos over the course of two years. To value meth at 22 million dollars is for people who don't know better who watch the nightly news. Meth is like $500 a pound in somewhere like LA. Inflated to maybe 2k-4 a pound for Georgia.
That list represents what a loose network of like 100 people were moving in 2 years.
