yo this is illDesigners do better rebrands on their personal time, than the shyt the owners pay for.
This shyt leaked about a year ago. Most pistons fans thought this change would be for this season but it coincides with the new arena for next season.BTH, this leaked before the all star break but at least it's official now

It's really the Red Wings' new joint in Detroit but the Pistons decided to move back to Detroit as well.

Will this be the first time all 3 major sports team will play in Detroit? For a while the Lions and Pistons played in Pontiac. The Red Wings have pretty much always played at Joe Louis Arena until recently right? SMH at hockey being the only sport with a true Detroit team all these years.

How could I forget about the TigersAll 4.
The Tigers "D" is the universal symbol for Detroit.When your born the doctor gives your mama a birth certificate and a Tigers cap.
I like the revert and the modern touches but yeah someone was paid too much for this.
Some of these old logos have a timeless simplicity. I think only the Sox in Chicago have ever changed logos much and even then the old english SOX is practically timeless right now. Bulls, Bears, Blackhawks, all old logos with timeless appeal. And by timeless I man not a product of the era. Some 90s logos look too busy. Pistons, Grizzlies, 76ers, Rockets, Hawks, 00 Warriors, T-Wovles.
Some logos now look soccer-esque. This is pretty clean.
