Sweet Potato Pie does nothing for me I guess it's a strictly southern thing because when I eat it I don't get any satisfaction or adrenaline rush of joy
I do think it's overrated and the only reason most like it is because of it being a black southern dish so it's automatically held as the gold standard pie but eh I'm not south so I guess my taste buds hit differently.
I'm not saying it's nasty or anything like that but it's just not a sweet tooth satisfyer for me compared to other desserts/sweets.

I'm not rushing to the table for sweet potato pie but I'll eat it if my mom makes it.
Pecan and pumpkin pies are disgusting, and eating apple chunks on a crust is a no go.
I like cakes and cupcakes. That is all.

My wife makes a mean pecan pie cheesecake thing for Thanksgiving... shyt is crack and I'm not a dessert person but she has to make me my own...Sweet Potato pie is alright long as it's warm...but I prefer pecan pie all day
Facts. Butter pound cake, buttercream cake and 7up cake over pie.
I'm always making home baked cupcakes for kids' school events and activities. That's my specialty. But that's about it.
what is that supposed to mean?? Because we're from NYC, you have a problem with us not looking being pie stans.
