And I cancelled my shyt last week after finding out you don't get all of the premier league and no Sunday night football.

Do people really care about friends and seinfeld and the office that much?
People rewatch the shyt out of sitcoms. Back when those series were still on Netflix I think Friends and The Office were consistently some of the most watched content. And Seinfeld is definitely on par with those shows since it's the original syndication giant.

Peacock has no buzz
None of these new streaming services have buzz because nobody really wants them. But a lot of people will still end up getting them out of convenience.

You should get the Olympics but don't quote me on that

Its weird seeing them brag about mostly free subs. I git it cause it was free snd the office is there and sometimes i want to see specific episodes. But once I seen you actually have to pay to watch the office. I looked around a lil bit and deleted that shyt with the quickness

I go through phases when I am into WWE and then I am not. This is one of those times. I went to reactivate my WWE subscription and noticed they moved to Peacock. Signed up last week and their whole platform is pretty smooth. Works well on my phone and on my Google TV. I dig it so far.:obama:

These numbers I assume are greatly helped by the WWE. Not saying they are the powerhouse they use to be. But Peacock moved the whole WWE Network on their platform. That is a lot of programming. I spent a whole day going through old matches. Lots of people would get it just for that. Plus WWE network used to be 9.99 a month. You can get full access to WWE network now with some commercials for 4.99 plus you get all the rest of the programming on Peacock. Not a bad deal at all.

They got a month of subscription from me. They finessed it though. They had a promo where The Office was free for a week and so of course I only managed to binge a few seasons and forked over a month to watch the rest. I canceled my subscription after I finished the show.

They catalog is lacking in terms of fresh, new content, but they have a lot of syndicated shows. I think their appeal will be towards older people who regularly watch cable tv and are looking to not have to plan their lives around reruns.

Peacock Helped Boost WWE Revenue in Q1

The WWE reported its Q1 results this week, with revenue at $263.5 million, a 9% decrease year over year. The company noted that the drop was due to the absence of live events due the pandemic.

While revenue was down, the numbers were ahead of Wall Street forecasts, due in part to the WWE’s partnership with Peacock. WWE Network content was acquired by Peacock in Marchand gave the network a revenue boost for the quarter, though upfront fees paid by Peacock were not disclosed.

In the earnings report, WWE said that Wrestlemania 37 was the most-viewed live event on Peacock since the streaming service launched. Viewership reached nearly 1.1 billion video views across digital and social platforms, according to highlights in the report.

“During the first quarter, we continued to effectively execute our strategy, demonstrating our ability to adapt to a challenging live event environment and to expand the reach and monetization of our content in a changing media landscape,” said Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman & CEO. “The launch of WWE Network on NBCU’s streaming service, Peacock, the multi-year extension to distribute NXT on USA Network and the successful staging of WrestleMania illustrate the enduring and increasing value of the WWE brand as the foundation for long-term growth.”

That's pretty much the only reason I subbed to Peacock. :bryan:

Olympic Trials (swimming and track/field) are happening this week on Peacock.

Its literally the only reason to have Peacock.

Remember, they can't time in milliseconds because the pool isn't measured in millimeters. @NV-ME @Basaglia
