Noticed during my Survivor Series 88 watch they bleeped out Duggan yelling "bullshyt" after he got dq'd. Didn't watch it on the OG network but I don't remember it being bleeped out on the coliseum home video version
always had peacock because the new saved by the bell is GOAT and office is a must, but the way they did the whole transition is awful

Yea y’all can have fun with that mess. It’s best if you don’t already have the original content, find somebody that does (and there’s plenty). If I pay for something, I’m paying for it in its unfiltered form. Show me exactly how it happened, not in it’s sanitized form.
I fully expect them to sell the entire company to a company like NBC Universal in the future anyway so the wild wild west of McMahon ownership will never be seen again. Gonna be full on corporate BS

Nbc is stoopid to neuter their programming on a website or streaming platform.
You can make content that explains the stuff you would ban.
Or how it is controversial and create historical education period documentaries.
I guess i am the only one smart enough to see that. People pay subscription services to see that which is banned. They do not subscribe to a service to have you ban material.
Then they will wonder why they took a loss.
While being too inept.
to use a discoveryzone.
to see what and why.
the spreadsheets have retained by number the results it has.

Well it makes sense.
As nbc and saturday night mainevent network collab.
cultivated and blew the draw up of wwf in the rocknroll era. By giving it that adult mystique and air time. That made it a draw to children. As it was the first time a kid could ask to stay up and watch saturday night live. Back in an era where kids had real bed times.
You hit the schoolyard lot. On monday.
Some kid talking bout.
Man,....my parents let me stay up.
Whut,....past bed time.
Nah,..no way.
Then they let me watch saturday night live. Then hulk hogun.
Schoolyard : That guy who beat up rocky from rocky iii.
Some lucky kid who got to say up past his bedtime:

It came on and it was not even a episode of saturday night live.
Schoolyard lot kids: you got to see saturday night live.
Lucky kid: Yeah but it was saturday night main event. It was an arena full of people and it was crazy.
They had matches and i went to bed like past midnight.

So now every kid begging their parents to stay up late to watch hulk hogun. Which is how rqcist hulkamania to rocknwrasslin got even more legs to draw. It was crazy.
Every week you trying to ask to stay up.
Till that one faithful saturday every eight weeks or so i think comes along.
You parents wake you up at ten thirty that fateful night. To see saturday night mainevent is real.
Plus your parents like hulk hogun and jyd and company too.

Every kid in the nation was on this wave and snme. Probably created how kids created a consistent argument to ruining their bedtime.
Before that. You was never in general staying up. Maybe for doctor who and the dialeks to kill micro. Yet that was upsetting. With snme. It was always booked with bf semantics first. So it rocked on a level that mixed with you getting out of an early bedtime to boot.

yea it can't be said enough that this move to NBC Peacock is absolutely awful for wrestling fans. they're going to water down the product so much.
reports show that WWE was making around $200 million per year from their 1.7 million paid subscribers on the Network, and they basically sold out to NBC for $250 million per year.
while on one hand you may think it's good that in the short gain you're immediately making another $50 million per year with the new NBC deal, but on the other hand is it really worth it? do you not have faith in your own Network that it will continue to hold it's own and maybe in another couple years it will generate that extra $50 million annually by itself? because it likely would ... The WWE Network has increased subscribers every year since 2014. sure, it will eventually cap out ... but to sell out for something relatively small (when compared to what it's already making on its own), tells a bigger picture IMO .....
wouldn't be surprised if this 4-year deal with NBC is just an introduction deal for WWE to eventually sell the entire company to them ... Vince is in his mid-70's now and he's gonna cash out.
