PC Nerds: Explain to me how next gen consoles can do 4k 120 and your 1500 cards cannot

Console developers also use "checkerboard" rendering where its running like 1200-1400p and copying the pixels to upscale to a 4k equivalent.

hitting 4k on PC depends on how optimized the developer makes the game..Like I can run Destiny 2 4k 60 or Starcraft 2 4k 120fps no problem with a 1070 but a game like Control I can barely run 1440p 45fps.

I can't imagine a nikka who participates in stupid console war shyt actually knowing anything about why or how graphics function the way that they do but that console war shyt doesn't apply to PC dummy unless you're talking exclusives, it doesn't work like that

Because nvidia has been holding back 2-3 generation of performance under their belt while amd struggles to produce good graphics cards.
Just look at ampere, if amd drops good cards. Nvidia is ready to drop another generation of performance again.

it's possible, but you have to sacrifice graphics options. a lot of people pushing 1440p 144hz on PC, but it's usually in games like CS:GO. and a lot of those people purposely lower settings to prioritize framerate

but the wording used for COD and such makes me think there's gonna be options to choose one or the other: 4K 60fps, or 1080/1440p 120fps

Consoles can barely do 60 fps without issues but they can do 120 now
