nah, he's just saying those cards aren't "next gen" as far as PC hardware. "next gen" pretty much means "top of the line", and that's this:
Buy EVGA GeForce GTX 680 Superclocked PCI-E Graphics Card
well really 2 of those, or a GTX 690 (@$1000 usd). or many other combinations of 600 series cards. the point is, with PC's it comes down to how much money you want to spend. and you can spend A LOT chasing the "top of the line"
you need to just figure out more-or-less how much you want to spend, and go from there
and no one has mentioned you might have to also upgrade the psu (power source), especially for the higher end vid-cards
