I don't think at any point in gaming history has console gamers cared about their games getting ported to PC. There is usually some hype when PC games come to consoles though.

The whole PC vs Consoles is pretty much a one sided conflict with the PC gamers trying to start an argument and consoles gamers like "here come these nikkas again"

Even the richest people in the world don't just throw their money at the wall, usually. It's not like you gotta go outta your way to get games for $48. Even without GCU or Amazon Prime there's other websites that have games for less than $60 on release day.
