"Back 2 The Basics" is album of the year. I'm a big horror movie fan and a day one DBC fan so listening to this shyt with these "A Nightmare On Elm Street" type beats that Payroll be producing was like worlds colliding. This nikka done fukked around and made a horror movie soundtrack for hustlers. Picture Freddy Kreuger chasing you around the whole movie but instead of tryna kill you, he tryna get you to boss up, lol. That's the atmosphere this album created for me. There's not one skippable track on this whole project.
