When I was a kid I met tons of wwf wrestlers backstage, all of them signed my autograph book never once had to pay
The difference is they're doing signings which are different than meeting them on the streets and such. Even sports athletes do this. They set-up something at cons or memorabilia shops.

I wonder why so many wrestlers seem so content to do nothing after retirement other than going to conventions looking washed up and signing autographs. Only a few of them have actually bothered trying to do bigger and better things outside of WWE or wrestling. If I'm a young person in WWE rn I'd be working on building a brand

Ya they aren’t signing rookie cards because the agency that’s promoting him will probably sell them signed at a premium in a different marketplace

Rookie cards even wrestling rookie cards have gone up in value tremendously the last six months or so. Wrestling cards used to not be worth dikk now some are valuable

These autograph prices are insane to me… and an extra $99 for a few letters is insulting

Except for a very rare occasion like ray Allen’s book signing, I can’t see myself paying to meet another grown man. And that was buying the book not just a photo or signature. This whole pay to play and wait in line at conventions to meet a celebrity for 10 seconds is crazy to me
The whole autograph thing is stupid anyways. Why the fukk does anyone care if memorabilia is autographed anyways? I get it if it's like some one of a kind piece where a person's real autograph can authenticate it or something like that but it's a damn trading card. There were probably thousands of those made.

IF you get paid enough and are smart with your money you don't need to do anything else.
