I concede to @Toe Jay Simpson 's point. Taylor is kinda the great white hope currently and i certanly believe her numbers and her recognizability globally.
Im not sure about bad bunny. His niche is pretty limited because of his language choice. To put this in perspective there are loads of black people and white people and asian people in right here in america that dont know a single song from bad bunny Similarly,. Bud bunny could be dropped in Tokyo , or London or Johanesburgh or Mumbai and get crickets in the local market except for local spaniards or latin transplants.
ACts on the level of michael like a Drake or Taylor have instant recognition globally, everywhere. I could drop both Taylor and DRake in Beijiing and they could sell out their biggest stadium. I could drop both taylor and Drake into the most backwards trailerpark in west virginia and i gauruntee you locals will begrudgingly hum "started from the bottom" while also proudly singing "shake it off" .
I agree that bad bunny is an icon, but he is localized. Look at how well he does in canada and america as well as latin america; but look at his abysmal showing everywhere else. Compare this to DRake or Taylor who have multiple number ones in multiple markets spanning multiple language groups

If bad bunny embraced english then i totally see him climbing, but as long as he stays in the spanish lane he just isnt on the level of Mike, Drake, or Taylor. Badbunny needs to embrace English like pitbull or Shakira if she wants the impact of lingua franca artist like the other 3
