Now that I've reread the article, Paulie did really harp upon Porter not being known for his power, Paulies been in there with people who were bigger punchers, he's known for his chin, and he didn't understand why every single punch was hurting him. He also brought up his injuries and couldn't understand how a person not known for his power and knockouts could damage him like that in only 3 1/2 rounds

Paulie is getting older and has been in a lot of tough, tough fights maybe his punch resistance is heading towards the bushes.. I'm not going to accuse Porter of anything with no proof.

Juicing was more on my mind than the plaster, but as with Margarito you never know. The thing is, Porter wasn't exactly a bully in the ring until very recently. That's two fighters in a row that he literally bullied, and it's like it came out of nowhere. Like who put the battery in his back unbeknownst to us? To be fair, maybe he's just now coming into his own.
On another note, I'd love to see him and Thurman tango.
