He had on a lid, but the fall is what did it, he fell 60+ feet onto his back. No spine guard is gonna stop you from being a paraplegic or quadriplegic with that kind of drop.

Damn 60 feet :deadrose:

Wish I can google map the exact street.

Check out the police report.

The Marietta Police Department Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.) is currently investigating a serious injury accident which occurred on South Marietta Parkway near Atlanta Road on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 7:35AM.

The on-scene investigation revealed that a modified sport motorcycle driven by Paul Williams of Grovetown, Georgia was traveling east on South Marietta Parkway near Atlanta Road at a high rate of speed. The motorcycle, which was travelling too fast for conditions, could not negotiate a curve and left the road way. The motorcycle crashed into an embankment and Williams suffered serious injuries.

fukked around with google maps and i found the locations. Tough right turn if you are inexperience and going too fast. In guessing he hit that hill and came back down hard on his back.

The location according to the reports. The right curve on the parkway and the embankment on the left.

There are conflicting reports on what really happen. First someone said he tried to avoid a car during a curve and swerved into like a ditch and fell 70 feet. The police report says he was going too fast and couldn't corner the curve and ended up going across the parkway through incoming traffic and into the embankment.

Now I googles the street from the report and came up with that address. From experience I believe he was going to fast and struggled to make a sharp right curve. Failed to lean sharply so he said fukk it I'm not going to make it (at that point it's too late, if you try to brake during a sharp turn especially at high speeds you will drop the bike ad possible slide into opposite traffic)

Maybe he tried to go up the embankment and fell or maybe he just didn't have any control and smashed right into it. What goes up must come down.
