I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
Just finished it. One of the best WWE docs..like someone else said they let a lot of stuff through that you wouldn't expect.

:ohhh: SD beating RAW in ratings, viewership, merchandise and ticket sales during his run. Always heard about the SD crew but wasn't actively watching during that time.

:wow: You missed out, breh. From 02-04, I only watched Smackdown because Raw was basically The HHH Show and I didn't like anything going on there. Meanwhile on Smackdown you had Brock, Taker, Angle, Edge, Eddie, Chavo, Rey, Noob Saibot, Team Angle, Cena, etc. It was just a better show. Paul worked the books and you could tell the talent was really working hard on that show to put forth the best effort possible.

What's the story on that
from raven shoot

Shane McMahon - They were really good friends and they’d go hang out every night drinking until about 4AM, which he figures got him heat with Vince. He also got heat from the locker room because they were telling him "You’re sucking Shane McMahon’s ass, you’re kissing his ass", etc. while he’s thinking "Hell, I’m BURYING myself if nothing else." He used to refer to Vince as Vic on the air as a goof and Shane actually started calling his dad Vic as a result. Their friendship collapsed after Raven left the WWF and he says that’s just the way things are in the business. He says that Shane would be a winner, figuratively, in the Biggest dikk Contest of life, as he’d be willing to do anything and everything such as trying to out-drink people, and it comes across when he gets into the ring. He was a little sad that their friendship didn’t renew when he came back to the WWF in late 1999.

Amazing doc. Really wanted to learn about his career before the Dangerous Alliance and got that (loved the Dusty story and the prodacthion meeting ). Didn't know he was THAT close to JR either. When you really think about it, he truly learned from the absolute best minds for the business. There's no one worth a damn in wrestling who didn't work in some form or fashion with Paul :wow:.

FINALLY understood the role Vince played in ECW. That always seemed iffy but I bought Heyman's story.

If you wanna hear more about him almost buying Strikeforce, listen to his interview in the MMA Hour from this past Monday, pretty interesting stuff.

I was legit :ohhh: at him telling the story about Shane almost buying ECW as a learning tool before taking over WWE from Vince. Also Shane'o wanting ECW to be an internet only product, dude was ahead of the times.

Didn't know Smackdown was outdrawing RAW on house shows when he was on creative. Does anybody how long them beating RAW lasted? @FreshAIG
