Well, I was giving my personal preference of what the all star game should be, like the rookie challenge is based like the way I described and has arguably been the best all star game between the two for the past few seasons. Sure, there's highlights here and there from the main event but the overall game entertainment has come from the rooks and sophs. I think Rubio should get in their becuase he killed in that one rooks game (Chuck vs Shaq) with that no look pass between dudes legs was sick. I'm just not hyped for the KD, Bronfest that's been the norm the past few seasons.

true, but I've also never understood the logic of voting in NBA players that we all KNOW will be in the game regardless. That's why I'd never waste my time voting for LeBron or KD or the usual suspects.

Yeah, the voting is set up just front court and back court, I thought that was mostly for the fans voting and not the coaches picking the reserves but I could be wrong on that. They definitely don't want that Bron situation again, though.

Situation probably wasn't the best word, it wasn't a problem exactly but Bron was put at 'center', which really for him isn't that much of a stretch it was more the way the voting went and the potential problem it could cause. The east starters consisted of 4 guards and Lebron (the default center because he's the only front court player voted in)thanks to the format change of the voting, so Lebron would have to guard Dwight or whatever center the West would have.
