Well I guess what I meant to say was the least respected star in the NBA 1) everybody used to talk about how PG was a disloyal teammate for puttin Lance on the spot in the Heat seriesWhen did this ever happen?
2) Everybody called this nikka a c00n for his Twitter comment about black women 3) got catfished by some homo
as someone else mentioned though most of the hate is on here though (but that's not surprising on a site full of haters)

Wishing dude well has nothing to do with him somehow becoming a favorite due to an injury. I know I don't like George but he's never done anything to me or any detractor to warrant applauding an injury. Nothing to do with how one personally feels about son and everything to do with being a halfway decent human being who can step back and realize some things are bigger than a game.

Just watched this. I can't think of another injury like this happening before in international play. Guess the odds were that it could, or would, happen sooner or later.
That said, I don't think there's any reason to believe that this will suddenly become a routine thing. Like Bird himself said in his statement, it could've happened anywhere, anytime. Hopefully we don't see an overreaction based on this singular incident.
In any case, tough break (pun seriously unintended) for PG and the Pacers. Hopefully he comes back all the way, not just physically, but also mentally/psychologically.
