So now Kawhi was the first option driving force of the Spurs championship :beli:.

So Kawhi on the pacers makes it past Lebron Wade and company in the weak east:beli:

Yeah ok :skip:
Kawhi is a key cog in those spurs runs.... You think Tim, Parker and ginobili would've made it to the finals by themselves? This ain't the early 2000s breh.

Paul George had an easier road to the finals then kawhi. Yea lebron is in the east but who else do you have after that?! The broke down rose bulls? The second round and out hawks? The celtics in :flabbynsick: Mode?

Pacers had like one of the worst offense in the league for a few years... Dudes used to come in here makin threads about Paul George going George Paul on everyone lmaooo

Was just going to make a thread on this, but just hit the search function:

Why isn't Paul George getting the same plaudits as a lot of other top players this season? :patrice:

Averaging 26/8/4 for a team that's currently sitting 2nd in the conference and didn't even make the playoffs a year earlier; not to mention he's improved in all statistical categories (pts, rebounds, assists) while shooting a career high 45% from three and playing a new position. Should we even mention that he's coming off a serious injury that put him out for an entire year as well?

His game is just so pretty to watch. He's gotten to that zone where he doesn't have to force anything.. the game just comes naturally to him. :banderas:. There was talk of him getting to that elite class a couple seasons ago, but now he seems to be finally breaking through.

And what about the Pacers? They are currently 11th in offensive rating and 2nd in defensive rating. They also have good depth at the guard positions with Hill, Ellis, Stuckey and Miles and drain the three ball at a higher percentage than any other team in the league.. so they can spread the floor. With Hill, George and Mahinmi they are also decent at cleaning up the boards. Would this team be able to give the Cavs trouble come playoff time? :lupe:

:beli: Where did all these George Paul supporters come from?!
If George can't make it to the finals in a weak east then he won't be able to help the Spurs win a ship.kawhi has to face the clippers, okc, the Warriors and rockets just to name a few teams
He's already proved himself while George Paul took a year off to recover:russ:

You can't be this stupid.

Would Leonard do what George did on the Pacers? You have to realize PG doesn't or hasn't played with anyone on par with Ducan, Parker or Ginobli.. PG on the Spurs and they probably win all those years.
I agree with what you're saying he didn't have Duncan, ginobili etc. But I can make another argument and say that Duncan, ginobili and Parker didn't make another finals run without a jolt from Leonard.

I can also say that PG couldn't make it to the finals in a conference that only had Lebron and Wade on one team. Leonard had like 4 top tier teams he had to deal with.

:dwillhuh: George Paul having a great first month and he got like 5 threads poppin already. Settle down brehs :whoa:

I always felt like Paul George belonged in that conversation when it comes to being the next guy at the throne once LeBron falls off.:yeshrug:

To me he's right up there with curry, Anthony Davis, harden, Westbrook, and durant.:ehh:

And his defense has looked better than his offense some nights. Was great seeing him and Butler go at..
If Paul can keep this up, with the cast that he has he deserves to be in the top 5 or 8
