I hate the idea of "confidence" for athletes.

It's not talked about as much here in the states, but I notice that soccer journalist just love throwing out shyt like "confidence" and "form"....

I just don't know how you can be an NBA center, a veteran at that, and play differently based on how "confident" you are.

I can see maybe a QB, low in confidence, scared to air it out in fear of another pick or something....but I would expect Gasol to be able to do his thing regardless of when he's asked to do it.

I tend to believe that some guys can't come off the bench because of shytty attitude...not "I feel so depressed and low in confidence".

That's what I was sort of thinking. Most teams are looking for salary cap space and trading for Pau and his contract wouldn't really offer that to most teams and most likely teams are only willing to part with draft picks which the Lakers probably want more. This might (.....MIGHT) be the one trade where Mitch is on the losing end. No player is really pushing to play in LA like that so they really have no leverage on anyone it seems.

As much as that should be the case, I don't think any amount of money could keep players from doubting themselves when they aren't playing at their highest of levels.

what they really lack is a quick PG... it has been their lacking for a while.

blame whoever you want.. but without a quick PG.. that position is weak..

and when you got a gunner like Kobe.. the two guard positions arent moving the teams enough...leads to bad percentage shots.. leads to losses.
