Even if that were true, it would be tough as Brady was still there. Kraft may have had the final say in that type of situation.
That’s been in the back of mind. He’s assuming that he’s the starter which tells me that he hasn’t grasped humility yet.
He’s gotta go show them that he’s still Cam and that will be hard to do given the uncertainty surrounding the season

This narrative that humility is a trait that the Patriots adore doesn't make sense when you look at some of the players they've gone out of their way to get, or just by hearing Brady talk for 20 minutes. I don't think they'd talk to CAM NEWTON's agent for almost a quarter of a year if humility was a dealbreaker
