Jesus Christ, you guys will praise white people for just recognizing that Black people exist.

He didn't say or do anything substantial here.
Damn breh. In this climate it's obviously not the same as a Kaep stepping out and saying it, but when he could be like all the other silent cacs, he didn't. Nobody is calling him the next Malcolm X. Just acknowledging the solid and keeping it moving. Goddamn

If you're a cac that wants to speak intelligently on this Kaepernick/anthem situation, THIS is how you do it:

You should have said, "If you're a cac that wants to speak intelligently on this situation but would NEVER kneel for the anthem, this is how you keep from being a total ass".

No he didn't. He literally said NOTHING. It's just other white athletes/sports personalities set the bar so low you guys get excited by this statement of nothing, when in reality who gives a fukk what Chris Long thinks about this situation.

MJ Truth is pretty much on target here. He could have gone a lot further than he did, you just set the bar too low.

I ain't saying that he has to kneel, but to say that one would NEVER kneel for the anthem, you're already buying into the bs American narrative to some degree.

I disagree. Why should he announce that he'd consider kneeling just because he understands the movement and where players like Kap are coming from? I'd rather he keep doing what he always does. If hes not going to be out in the field donating to causes, speaking with interest groups, and lobbying for change like Colin is then he shouldn't consider kneeling just to show support. And that goes for everyone... even the black players. You gotta be all in. You gotta truly be about this life in order to kneel, atleast that's the way I see it. Thats how Colin laid it out.

Otherwise it just becomes a petty trend and hes playing copycat which would be corny. On the same token, not everyone who continues to stand or salute is shytting on the equality movement or "buying into American bullshyt" either. Most ppl just stand because everyone else is doing it.. or because thats what they used to doin. Or to think about someone they know who got murked. Or because they dont have the balls to do anything else. Who tf knows it could be anything. The point is that the anthem means different things to different ppl. Whether you stand or kneel doesnt matter, its what you actually do to process or react to all of this b.s that is going on. Kneeling symbolizes something very specific. Standing does not.
