Again no one is most likely not getting Ebola in NYC(besides probably heath workers) unless someone physically touched the doctor when he was VERY ill or if the doctor vomited and someone physically touched it. Again he would have had to been VERY sick.

If someone with Ebola sneezes on someone and it gets in their eyes or mouth, they are saying it's possible it could be transmitted. Maybe we are still "Low Risk" right now so I agree but I think New Yorkers should be concerned. This city government aren't the sharpest knives in the draw.

Yeah and its unlikely that the doctor did that. And I agree New Yorkers should be concerned but we shouldn't be paranoid and let it affect our daily lives.

I don't want to blame the victim but why are these people who were treating Ebola going on their normal lives when they come back? Shouldn't he go to the hospital 1st and get checked out before they do anything? I'm still mad JFK/Customs didn't send him straight to hospital when he got off the plane.

A lot of dumb shyt from everyone involved but this a$$hole knew consciously that he was treating people with Ebola and instead of him being positive and thinking ":smugbiden: ain't no thing, I don't got shyt" he should've been like ":lupe: fukk what if I got it". Then his goofy ass decides to go on 3 mile runs, ride the 1 train which is usually PACKED anywhere downtown below 116th, go bowling hopping in Brooklyn and whatever else dumb shyt they said he did.

fukk that guy, even if it doesn't spread he's always going to be a a$$hole for that

the guy is a douchebag...regardless if it spreads or not. Hipster moron.

Should burn the body:demonic:

fukk his memory. All that humanitarian shyt goes out the window when you have zero regard for people coming back chilling all over the city when you just came from the belly of the Ebola epidemic.

Idk if people understand New York, but on a rush hour train you are literally packed to the gills on a subway car. It's nothing to have someone breathing directly on you, or have a complete stranger literally inches from your face. And thousands of people will pass through that same spot within the next hour.

Anybody watch The Strain on FX? Sever the head from the spinal cord and burn the body. It's the only remedy:demonic:

Yeah I agree, They say he followed "Protocol" yet he tested positive. Therefor he put people at risk bottom line. I was sick to my stomach looking at all the things he did and places he went. If this is a contagious disease he could of infected a lot of people. Also didn't they say it takes 3 weeks to be cleared? So there could be people exposed and we don't know there status yet. How can they possibly track down all the people on those Trains and at the Bowling alley? This is insane.

Yo everyone should watch the film "Contagion" by Steve Soderbergh. It's the most realistic film about an outbreak/pandemic.

Like I said, I do salute the guy for trying to help in Africa. I just don't like what he did when he got back to he US. But the CDC has to take some blame. He saw it 1st hand over there, he knows how deadly it is. But the CDC is now trying to spin it and say they did check him at JFK and he didn't have any Symptoms. But that doesn't matter, he was dealing with patients with the disease, he should of been locked down for 21 days period. They can't say, "Oh he didn't show any signs" but he ends up tested positive, that means someone didn't do their job.

This just highlights how lackadaisical we're being.

Stopping travel would be a massive blow to the world economy but we can't truly overcome the barrier to accepting that we may HAVE to do that.
