Going to give LE a shot this weekend.Might not put in the heavy grind since I finally got comfortable in PoE2.

Last Epoch deserves the love, I actually enjoyed the endgame for a minute. Skills having their own skill trees is a game changer.

Yeah I will probably never come back to this game. ARPGs are designed for you to become God's, not struggling peasants with powers.Hell, I was playing Diablo 2 and it just felt right. This seems more of a passion project for the Git Gud bros and GGG, and not so much for legit gamers and casuals
I had an easier time going through the campaign than I did at release. Not seeing the hang up with the game after the recent wave of patches.

They've been deliberately showing they want this for years and no amount of complaining or disinterest has stopped it. I keep bringing it up...the Ruthless mode in POE1 that was introduced a few years ago was a major tell. They want an ARPG that balances difficulty via scarcity: limited drops, limited currency, limited movement. They introduced a dash move in that mode and it's basically the POE2 dodge but limited by the first game's engine. They do NOT want the high speed gameplay that POE became, with players zooming through maps doing crazy damage. They want you sludging through dungeons with wack gear that balances the game for them.
Will reason win out? Will somebody in the office stand up and say "people want us to keep improving on Diablo, not imitating Souls games with worse gameplay."

LE just had their first huge update today, and PoE2 is still in beta.
You're saying GGG is neglecting and being hard headed, yet they have pushed through like 5 patches the last week which improved the game considerably.
I finally got to end game again today after two weeks/30 hours, and asking for help to beat Viper and Dory cruel.

It's definitely easier than before, but the loot complaints are valid if nothing else.

I'm about to roll a character in LE this weekend. I basically jump in and out of PoE2, D2R, and LE.
Played a bit of LE last night. Still a solid game which is well worth the time for ARPG heads.
Also, PoE2 severely needs seamless KB+M/Controller support. I might put more time into LE than PoE2 just for that single reason.
