A REAL pastor wouldn’t even think to do stuff like this, dress like they do when they have members who starving for real. Not saying you shouldn’t buy nice things, especially when you work for them. But when you prioritize wearing designer everything, it gives a certain perception.
A good pastor understands that perception and doesnt show up their congregation. Some pastors yes, get paid from the church, but it isn’t tithes…and a good number of them give a good amount of that money back. They’re the first to give, they lead and are the example of giving in the church. Heck, a lot of good pastors spend money out of their pockets giving back. My pops and his friends were like that. Him and my mom only preached giving because they GAVE! They spent money out of their pockets making sure members were okay. Making sure programs and ministries were funded or gave their share. So when yall talk mega pastors they are the minority. A lot of churches struggling. But yall keep thinking the pastor with the church around the corner “stealing” the money. Not saying it doesn’t happen, but it’s much less than folks think. The extreme minority , it’s just they the loidest
