There’s nowhere in the Bible where it tells you to tithe. Pastors use the book of Malachi in the Old Testament but it’s taken out of context. Should you want to contribute to the church you go to? Yes. But will God smite you down for not tithing? No.

If we're talking old testament these decrepit dogs will pick and choose however they see fit. Hell they'll pick and choose out of the whole religion.
Wow...my church has been telecasting and using free conference call lines. We have a Givelify app but our pastor says only give if you can. He knows times are hard.
Shame that people actually fall for this type of stuff. IF you have it and you feel moved to continue tithing, but God understands these times, I don't think you gonna get it held against you if you can't give your tithes/offerings

I don’t like mega church pastors who live in mansions with private planes and sports cars.
If they were the men of God they proclaimed to be, they would be spending 98% of that money to take of the poor/needy and spread the word.
The prosperity preachers who try to sell stuff like “holy water” to ignorant and desperate people are horrible.
