What about a Deist, Pantheist or Pagan interpretations of "god"?

Article was on point and was a fantastic expose into Theism's obsession with their Sky Daddy, but I find it limiting in some regards, especially from a philosophical viewpoint.

It was well written anyway.

Yeah, but the majority of people who believe in this stuff believes in a personal god. One who watches over them, and answers their prayers, etc. His point was to point out how absurd that position is.

Take five minutes to make two lists; one of those ailments I will miraculously cure and the other of those I will not. You will quickly find it coincides perfectly with those conditions medical science (or the human body itself) can defeat and those we cannot. Why do you think that is? It is almost as my miracles are created out of medical ambiguity isn’t it?

You never realized that the kids born without legs didn't grow them back no matter how much they prayed or their parents prayed?

Yeah, it seems like the same stuff you would hear from any hardcore atheist. What's new? All he did was reference the most recent human tragedy, something that atheist do a lot.
