Democrats don't have an identity. :manny: The fact they got their asses kicked the way they did and still haven't figured out why is the problem.
Democrats do have an identity, it's not the white one, I mean the right one :troll: people want to hear or see:mjpls:

The Dems being everything but pro-White (man) is what's hurting them :sas2: Republicans' main identity since 2016 has been White grievance politics and uber-anti-immigration rhetoric, among a few other miscellaneous topics for nearly a decade and then some, as of now, it seems to be paying off lately.

This isn't like the '60s or '70s when people were all for change and opening up to different things; in this era, people's attitudes aren't like that anymore, and proposing too much change and progress has lately become off-putting for a particular segment of society.

The Dems playing “let us all hold hands together as one” as if this is the Obama era and do not understand that tensions in America are boiling, that type of gameplan isn't working at the moment because a large portion of this country is divided and isn't interested in anything that's too pro-minorities, pro-gay, pro-women's rights (abortion), pro-immigration, etc anything considered to be “radical/progressive” in nature.

There are a lot of people who quietly scoff at the idea of progress if it means certain types of people are benefiting.

I respect your assessment but still disagree. I say Dems don't have an identify because they don't have core issues. They pick and choose issues they think will get them elected. For example, prior to the SCOTUS leak on Roe vs. Wade being overturned, Dems didn't say much on abortion other than typical talking points. After the ruling, they made it a priority meanwhile people were asking for economic issues to be addressed. Prior to that, it was vote Biden cause a second Trump term would be problematic. And prior to that, I'm sure your remember the "vote blue no matter who" slogan for the congressional race during Trump's tenure And again prior to that, Hillary ran on name recognition more than anything else. Obama ran on "hope and change" and folks really didn't know what they were voting for other than likability. :manny:

I agree that twice the Dems sent a weak woman candidate (Clinton was even less liked...and she was white!)

Had Harris won, would these roaches still be in the shadows?

.
It's really a multi-dimensional issue. Yes people didn't like Hillary; however, she won the popular vote. She lost cause our process of having an electoral college. Both Clinton and Harris did have one thing in common. They both didn't have a message and ran shyty campaigns. Biden got lucky due to timing cause Trump fycked up during Covid. Biden's campaign was also weak as well.

We focused on the wrong issues and got obliterated, the facts and data proved it. Abortion, immigration, loan forgiveness, none of it matters to the rural states we needed in order to win.

Our whole campaign was doomed when Nancy forced Joe out, so the blood of all the innocent people killed during Trump's administration are at the feet of Pelosi...
Nope, it's at the feet of those who voted for Trump.

If you voted for a leopard and then get eaten by that leopard, it's on you.

I'm tired of this idea that politicians have to run the perfect campaign.

Nah, either take a moment to understand what's at stake or be served up like one.

Putting it on Pelosi or Kamala or whichever Democrat you want to name is treating voters as infants, and that does nobody any good.

It's a civic duty, and lessons are clearly needed on what that means in our day to day lives.

People hate TYT now because they always dunking on Democrats
Imo someone can have a clear agenda and axe to grind.....that don't mean they lying
I don't listen to them regularly or nothing so maybe they went off the deep end recently but the times I have watched the show I found myself agreeing more often than not
I think it's healthy to have criticism coming from the left. Democrats are the lesser of two evils, they aren't actually effective or good. Otherwise we wouldn't be complaining about the same shyt our entire lifetimes. Many of us living in 100% Democrat controlled cities with the same issues of corruption, grifting, and zero improvement in black quality of life. There is plenty of room to criticize Dems and plenty of shyt to complain about if we're honest so that's the lane TYT occupy :yeshrug:
Oh I agree. Democrats need to be held accountable for their failures. Their stupidity cost them downballot in many blue/purple districts that is going to hold states back on a local level. And if they don't listen they're going to lose again in 2028. After the next census even the blue wall won't save them and states like NC/GA/AZ become must wins.

Democrats are in shambles - instead of Cenk putting together another Justice Movement with Independent/Populist candidates even on a small scale to compete with braindead city council/congressional reps hes cozying up with Charlie Kirk and giddy because Elon responded to his tweet. And Ana Kasparian is basically center-right at this point. Cenk has his moments where he huffs and puffs but I don't think he really has that steam anymore like he did during the Obama years. He doesn't care how bad things get as long hes got his Youtube/Member bankroll.

And this ONLY applies to democrats. Republicans can apparently break as many laws as they want and still get elected. I'm no longer entertaining bullshyt conversations about what the dems should've done better, because people were always going to hold them to standards that are not expected of republicans.

I have zero doubt Sanders would have more so than Biden and Hilary

Dems don't have an identify because they don't have core issues.
Part of this, I think, is the Democrats are trying to appeal to a lot of groups that are marginalized, or feel like they are mqargainlied, all at the same time.

Black people, LGBT, etc.

The issue with this strategy is not all those groups care about, or even approve of, each other, so conflicts arise and it's tough to build an identity around groups with so any different needs and values.
