J-Law stans (which is the entire tween community) have been waiting on this shyt for forever, breh, it's actually incredible how well the movie's been trending considering the movie's utter lack of marketing.
I was going to mention the reshoots might have to do with the MOVA lawsuit not allowing them to use footage utilizing that tech, but I haven't been reading up on the news surrounding this movie so I'm not sure about that.
Regardless of that, even if they couldn't use certain footage or have to do reshoots, they could've easily dropped a (teaser) trailer already. Hell, they have actually shown footage of the movie at CinemaCon earlier this year which was well received. Whatever the reason (mine's just speculation), it has been a very
deliberate decision by Sony to not release a trailer so far.
And for the record, I don't trust Sony either. This being a Sony movie is really the only thing worrisome to me, not the lack of a trailer or the reshoots.
