Disappointing and boring. Just like Weeknd's album, it doesn't really get started until you hit the middle. I'll give it a few more listens but overall I don't think I'm gonna keep much.

(News, Loyal, Split all were released before so I don't count them).

Hesitating to listen to this because P3 was trash to me. I'll probably still check it out tho:patrice:
P3 had to grow on me but I would still choose P2 over everything. P3 don't have that replay value.

This album I didn't like any of the singles he released so I had mid range expectations and it was the right call.

P3 has crazy replay value to me. His deepest tracks are on there

And many more :wow:

I don't understand when people shyt on that album :yeshrug: It's his peak and best work in so many ways

And it had his best single

don’t get me wrong, I still enjoyed the album (problems and selfless is one of my favorites, did not like joy at all tho) I just mean I can specifically remember listening to the first 2 albums much more.

you are correct that it does get shyt on A LOT and I feel like with any artist if you were down from the beginning of their career you’ll always feel like their newer stuff don’t hit like the old stuff.

that announcement for big Sean Detroit 2 had me thinking the same shyt. I could listen to finally famous mixtapes all day but his newer stuff don’t cut it for me. Same with The Weeknd. To me he will never get back to echos of silence and house of balloons level.
