better than p3--and i like that album. anyone who thinks these songs all sound the same needs their ears check. i was immediately impressed how dope and varied the production is here. all the shortcomings from the last album r improved upon actually. his vocals r alot better. i do think he would benefit bringing in another songwriter at times.
Idk man, P3 was on another level for me. The production was way more complex. This feels too stripped back and kinda commercial tbh. But I understand what he was going for.
Between his EPs, mixtapes and albums, there are at least three PND projects I’m going back to before I go back to a Drake project

i loved the sound of that album. there r just some real cringe moments vocally--i almost felt bad for him. he needs autotune theres no shame in that. i also think some of that sparse production exposed his songwriting. u can hear weeknd has gotten better since he's gotten help. a writing partner would make pnd a better artist.
Yeah I agree. I always thought he was overrated as a song-writer (in terms of lyrics) and vocalist but his production and melodies are what makes him an interesting artist.

Can’t front this joint grew on me a whole lot. Might even be rnb album of the year *for me.
