Kid they were interviewing said he heard shots then the fire alarm went off, he thinks the shooter did that so kids would come out of their classes. He said when he finally left his classroom he saw a security guard dead. Super intendent said there's one or two cops in the building at all times. Might of capped a cop too.

This is probably the most in your face a school shooting has ever gotten. No more waiting on police to release evidence or security camera footage. People literally getting gun downed and we're seeing pics and video of it 20 seconds after it happened.

Mass shootings happen on average ONCE EVERY 19 DAYS in America. So this is a COMMON occurence, it happens so often that only the "major" ones like this make the news.

There is no real actual numbers but at least major 11 school shootings happened before Columbine.

There was a school schooting in Kentucky in December 1997 but that got barely any news coverage nationwide.
