Preventable medical errors are the 6th biggest killer on the planet so i think you're misinformed, friend but im sure you have some clever language to talk around facts. More Dr.s kill people with preventable medical errors than christians that think praying over their sick child will heal them.
No one is arguing about how more deaths happen. This isn't a competition between bad doctors and stupid religious people. They're both wrong. That being said, most preventable medical errors are the result of systemic problems, not individual mistakes by individual doctors, so those problems aren't in the same league as two parents consciously deciding to ignore reality and facilitating the death of their child.
Sorry plenty of Dr's are known for medical malpractice that lead to death from their negligence and just get stripped of their license, not so much jail time. That or they transfer to another state to practice medicine and escape justice. Lets be real here.
Medical malpractice isn't the same thing as a preventable medical error, so this is a completely different point. And anyway, those doctors should be punished, just like these parents should.
I made a mistake though it was 98 thousand who die per year from these mistakes which cost close to 30 billion dollars. I think you need to hit the books again, friend.
Obviously training means nothing.
Training means a lot more than prayer, friend. As I said, most of those preventable problems aren't the result of individual malpractice or negligence- they're systemic problems, so they happen whether the doctors are trained or not, and belong in a different category from problems that are caused by doctors' stupidity.
