Gotcha. My son don’t have anxiety about anything, but yea if you don’t check a 2 year old they will pour every toy out on the floor and go toy to toy ect. You have to not let that happen or you will spend another hour clesning

Do you have kids?

Trust me you wouldn't notice it unless you're a third person watching how your son acts in and out of your presence. You're not doing anything abusive for it to be easily visible.

I had anxiety in my teens when my mother passed and my older sister felt the need to fill her shoes for some reason. I probably seemed like I was laid back and chillin, but I was tense and was never truly at peace in her presence.

Do you have kids?
No

I'm childless but the only ones that annoy the shyt out of me are birthday parties for 1 and 2 year olds. They're not gonna remember that shyt :dahell:

Why are you so pressed for me to come to your mini carnival? Get them a cake take pictures and call it a day.

With that said, if you're that miserable playing pretend with your kids, then you shouldn't have had them in the first place
Because it’s not about the kid. It’s about the parents, they’re taking it personally that you’re not showing up. It reminds me of my mom having a grudge with one of her siblings because they didn’t show up to my high school graduation, even though I couldn’t have given a fukk less.

Every kid doesn’t want you to play pretend with them. My youngest plays pretend by herself for the most part, and if she does try to play with us it’s usually for us to eat her pretend food and say “mmmm.” Then she immediately laughs and says “was it good?” :lupe::pachaha:

That’s not a good barometer. Different parents enjoy/dislike different things about parenthood. Some parent love traveling with their kids and others hate it. Some love watching them fumble around playing sports and others don’t. It doesn’t matter who you are or what your kids are like, there are going to be AT LEAST a couple things they do that annoy you.

My youngest is super competitive, which I love… but she’s also super emotional. I’ve spent the last year or so trying to help her deal with her emotions so she doesn’t cry every time something doesn’t go how she expects/wants… but it’s still annoying af when she starts crying because she cant solve a puzzle less than 5 minutes in. But that’s parenting
