When i was young my parents took me to see terminator 2 and that shyt was rated R but parents today are taking kids to see little yellow people and adam sandler get pissed on by deer.

it is summer time kids everywhere should be watching giant robots kill monsters just like we did when we were young with toys.

but parents are taking them to safe movies with cute characters and Adam Sandler vacation films with friends.


Man i do not know who to blame the kids for not telling nah INSISTING that they see Giant Robots fight monsters or the parents for wanting to see cute movies and Adam Sandler vacation film AGAIN!

I'm going to have watch pacifi rim trailer and see I'd she likes it

She ain't want to see superman tho

I think the reason why she love batman cuz of the joker and batman tas I would watch with her

My wife took her nephew to see that Grown Ups 2 joint on Friday, she was like, "I asked if he wanted to see Pacific Rim and he was like nah". I ended up going by my damn self. From talking to people/kids they all thought that Pacific Rim would be hit or miss. Said they opted on not seeing it because they thought it would be boot.

My homie is 27 and he went and saw Despicable Me 2 last week and I was like

"Why didn't you see Pacific Rim?"

....

"I don't know about that one"

Transformers movie was based on an already huge franchise which included toys and a cartoon that was marketed to and attracted by nostalgic adults while also being family friendly and accessible to kids who didn't grow up on the toys and original film.

What the hell is Pacific Rim? I heard people talking about it, but didn't even know what kind of movie it was until I randomly saw a TV spot after I heard said people mention that they were going to see it. It obviously doesn't have the same pull as two of the biggest franchises in film and pop culture.

it is what it is if you like to see fights between giant robot and a monster or had any passing interest in those godzilla vs (some monster) fight when you were young you will like this movie. Just good cool action. If you daughter enjoyed transformers then there is no reason she would not like this movie and it this one it has a better female protagonist then any of the transformers movies so there is that.

i guess because of the high price of movie tickets people are scared to take a risk.

you should have taken your nephew inlaw and took him to see Pacfic rim

But since it was for his birthday, and it was last minute I let my wife take him. I didn't talk to him before hand, but I would have broke it down for him like that.

my point with the terminator 2 comparisons was the violence and the Hard R.
Parents were not afraid to take there kids to violent movies when i was growing up.

although i am exaggerating because it was number 3 but i think it should have been at least number 2.

I mean look at all the shyty reviews for grown ups and that shyt is number 2 in the country right now. How are critics still getting work because people obviously do not care what the fukk they think.
