Ehh, Sterling is the MVP but I like the entire cast.

Except the kids… but I never like kid actors, with exceptions

Billy is a scene stealer, probably my 2nd favorite character; Sonic’s dad is solid; and the main villain is the right amount of menacing

Great start. Sterling is one of those deserving actors who’s had to grind for years. Glad he’s got a potential hit on his hands, in a starring role

Most of Hollywood needs actual nerds (at least a Level 10 of "well ackshually") when it comes to writing Fantasy/Science Fiction/Speculative.

little to no animals. No cows, hence the fake cheese on the cheese fries i think. But the daughter made eggs/egg whites for breakfast . Perhaps they were egg substitute . They pump insect noises through the speakers.

Seriously.

I can believe they have farms where they keep the animals, or they have a plant based diet, but NO birds, or cats or dogs???? You at least need bees to pollinate the crops to grow the vegetables. If the landscaping is astroturf, okay, but we saw all the food in the grocery store.

Paradise hasn't gone into the mechanics of it...yet. But Silo was much better thought out, and even that has a lot of head scratching moments.

Like where is Common still getting them butter soft leather jackets?

The landscaping trees could be fake. I thought they planted the others years before, but it takes decades to get tall forest height trees.

Did everyone’s money transfer with them? We saw the girl using a watch to pay for the ice cream, but what happened to everyone’s bank accounts? What if you were chosen to work at the coffee shop? Are you stuck in the same job forever, or can you get a better job? Were you assigned the same level of housing you had before? Are people allowed to have kids? Is there a diaper manufacturer? I need an entire episode on these questions.

Remember in Downsizing how they had the poor area? I hope they at least gave the blue collar workers nice places to live.

I think it's pretty telling that 99% of shows in the "future" recreate the class system

I like the show. One thing I'm not a fan of is a show having to rely on flashbacks, but it's done tastefully.
