I lived 2 blocks from there. It was a dump, never ate there or the dollar slice spots. There was also a drug rehab spot on the block so a lot of fiends posting up around there.

I'm saying traditional NY pizza is what makes NYC great. Not this dollar bullshyt that places that sell real pizza can't compete with.

Nah, love NYC pizza but cheap eats that can be had everywhere and anywhere is unique to the city. Good food aint unique to any city even if I do have a special place in my heart for hopping out of bed at 11 pm to get a pie from Nonna's and being gifted an extra pie because they were going to get rid of the last batches.

Papaya Dog w/ the Chili and cheese .. First time I had it I was hooked .

Some friends (cacs) of a friend (cac) told me about it before I visited NYC .. so I wasn't sure


But them thangs was hitting' ..


Had some slices too .. thought it was all hype about NY pizza ... No lies were told about the goodness

Haha I been to both EDIT : ( I think ) .. so thats my California ass just calling them a " papa dog " .

I got a chopped cheese at Olympia Deli too..but everyone said the best was in Harlem or BK I think
