No Pakistani PM has completed his/her 5-year term in its 75 year history.
Imran Khan says he has evidence that the US wanted him gone and worked with the opposition and those within his coalition to drop off and vote him out in parliament.
Who knows if that is true but anyone with more than a passing familiarity with Pakistani history knows that it isn't that crazy of a claim.
Anyway, Khan still has a lot of support, the next Pakistani elections are in 2023, maybe he creates a comeback but I doubt his party can win an outright majority. But his party probably gets the most seats again. Khan's message of anti-corruption, development, inclusion, etc are powerful. He made some novice mistakes. His chief minister was incompetent, didn't empower his die hard loyalists, didn't fully implement his reforms, etc. But he did prevent the country from going bankrupt and put in place programs to help regular people.

Pakistan has traditionally been ruled by two parties who are incredibly corrupt and inept. Khan came to power in 2018 and broke their power. The corrupt didn’t like that and created an unholy alliance called PDM. People who have literally spent decades attacking each other and creating scandals to defame, literally came together hugging talking about friendship, it is completely laughable.
Then you have the military which is always pro-US and Khan had some military support in 2018 because the country's fiscal position was in hell.
The funny thing is, Shebaz Sharif and his brother Nawaz Sharif, are arguably more PRO-CHINA than Imran Khan is. And the Pakistanis are still indebted to the Saudis. So, nothing is changing there till elections next year.
