this movie was entertaining as fukk. Hate on Bay all you want but people don't go to his flicks to see some deep Christopher Nolan type shyt. He knows how to deliver the perfect mix of action, comedy & cinematography :ohlawd:

I'm still pissed he chose to make this flick over Bad Boys 3 doe :damn:

$34.99/month. I eat real good on this shyt.

I've had it since December 1.

I've seen 55 movies....maybe more, not sure.

There are 3 theaters within 10 minutes of each other...the one I go to most is right next to work and the gym.

:blessed:

:to: can you use it for multiple tickets? :krs:

I've seen a lot of shytty movies hyped up on this forum, and a lot of good movies slammed.

The reason I'm not going to pay to see it is because the RottenTomatoes rating is shyt.

So I'll probably catch this on DVD/Blu-Ray at some point. Or maybe on HBO.

Just from the complaints I'm seeing on here and on RT. I'm guessing that the biggest problem for the screenwriters was trying to balance out the comedy with the reality of the horrible shyt these guys did (I read the article the movie is based on). It's their moral obligation not to make these characters redeemable or completely likeable. So the 'tonal shift' everyone is bytching about was probably in there to accomplish this. Shocking the audience back to reality.

I'm guessing it didn't work. I'm sure Bay's overly colorful glitzy portrayal of Miami doesn't help either. Just imagine a movie like this based in the fake version of Boston in the movie "Killing Them Softly". Probably be a completely different flick.

I just wrote 2-3 paragraphs on a movie I've never seen. I need to stop drinking Red Bull's.

You should've known better when you heard it was directed by Michael Bay with Wahlberg in one of the lead roles.

One of the most :scusthov: collaborations in modern film history.

I'll sum up most of it for you.

2 guys get into business together. Mortgages or something. Guy 1 is the money behind the operation. He's helping Guy 2 out. Kind of a loser.

Guy 1 guy doesn't like Guy 2's scamming gym buddies. Guy 1 threatens to leave the company if he doesn't cut off his buddies. The ultimatum doesn't work. Guy 2 refuses to leave his scamming gym buddies.

Guy 1 pulls out of the business.

Introducing Guy 3. One of the scamming Gym buddies. Guy 2 and Guy 3 round up a bunch of other Gym Buddies to kidnap Guy 1.

The Gym Buddies kidnap Guy 1. Torture him. They are wearing masks and have him blindfolded but Guy 1 obviously recognizes Guy 3's voice. Guy 3 uses information that only Guy 2 could have known. So now Guy 1 realizes Guy 2 set him up.

The Gym buddies hold him captive for a few weeks. Force him to sign a bunch of papers giving them control of his assets.

One day they decide to load Guy 1 up with booze. Staged a car crash. Stuck Guy 1 in the car, they thought he was passed out. Lit the car on fire. And the Gym Buddies took off.

Guy 1 wasn't passed out. He ran from the car and survived.

When he gets to the hospital nobody believes Guy 1. I mean he's a drunk guy coming off the streets.

He hires a Private Investigator. He goes to the cops. Initially, nothing ever comes out of it. No one believed Guy 1. Or maybe the cops just hated him because he was kind of an a$$hole who had it coming.

You'd think the story ends there? Nope. They kidnapped 2 more people, tried to extort them, fukked up, and ended up killing them. They eventually got brought up on charges for what they did to Guy 1 too.

I didn't even see the movie and I'll still co-sign!

Michael Bay is :trash:

The Rock and some of the first Transformers are the only decent movies he ever made.

TF2 was the last damn straw.

Michael Bay & Tyler Perry :scusthov:. Neither will ever see a dime from me as long as I live:birdman:.
you forgot to mention bad boys but thats beside the point....SO you come in a thread for a movie that was made by a guy who's movies you dont like just to reiterate how much you hate this person :wtf: why not just avoid anything that has to do with this persons movies and threads about his if you dont like his style of movies.. Let me guess you couldn't wait for this thread to be made so you could feel like your opinion matters..

Rating movies? It's all good. But STILL..needing a website, your friend, or anyone to judge something for you is odd cadence.
