Ol’Otis
The Picasso of the Ghetto
trueBetter than American Gangster imo (cause half the film was focused on an Irish cac cop)
shyt is mad annoying

halfI know the directors are black
I felt the opposite, scenes with O Dog were legit street shyt to me. Boyz in the Hood was a bit melodramatic. He scored just enough on the SAT! *mother cries* lolIm probably gonna get flack for this but
after rewatching Menace it reminds me of more of what white people think black people in the hood act like
I know the directors are black but if i didn't i'd assume they were white after watching it
Boyz in the Hood felt more authentic and made the characters act more realistic and less like stereotypes
Menace has some classic scenes but overall I think Boyz has aged better.
pause
Once again using pretense as a crutch.Message! And your argument is, because i enjoyed th e movie more it's better film making?
Boyz has the classic scenes, quotes and is the powerful and relevant film period. You may enjoy PiF but it will never have those accolades, so Boyz is the better film and always will be.
With your ignorant ass.
Now go watch Scarface for the first time![]()
one of the "chosen" black hood classics. :fohch:
Exactly, Italian mov movies get that CAC cosign and it's the best thing since sliced bread.Y'all nikkas too obsessed with Italians
It's definitely up there with Goodfellas and Casino in my book. Better than American Gangster imo (cause half the film was focused on an Irish cac cop)
Thanks for reminding me to grab this flick in Blu-ray (is it even available in that format?)
