I hate the guy on a personal level more than most but it's hard for me to imagine anyone fretting about him getting a new deal if he takes us to the promise land. The fanbase would be in delirium. Also a Super Bowl win would mean a huge turnaround to the season and and win versus New England or Baltimore. Coaches would definitely deserve some credit for that.

I was a kid in Dallas in elementary school with a Cowboys backpack the last time we were champs. A good chunk of our fanbase wasn’t even alive yet. You underestimate how important just one title is to a fanbase. Especially one as starved as ours
