What's up with the lack of turnovers...it's fukkin pathetic
It's all culture man. It starts from the top.
For the past 10+ years, the team's philosophy is to draft former team captains and perceived RKG (right kinda guys).
Combine that with bend don't break defenses, more reactive approaches, secondaries that try to keep everything in front of them or play the receivers and not the ball,
you'll get solid defenses that don't get turnovers.
We don't draft nasty dudes, or cats that want to punish and dominate. Cats with personality. Sometimes Jerry will make a splash and bring one over in FA/draft but after a while, they succumb to the culture.
This team is afraid of dawgs and aggression. Look how they did Dez, TO, etc.

Gonna be hard for Jerry to fire the coach of the reigning NFC EAST CHAMPIONS :troll:

Beautiful thing some of y'all forgetting...He (Garrett) doesn't need to be fired. His contract is up we (hopefully) just won't pick him up...

Fixing this problem needs to start with Jerry Jones. Simply getting a new coach puts us back in the same position we've been in for the last 10-15 years.
It's going to take REAL culture changing moves, aggressive and deliberate. I don't see that happening.

I mean look at the results from Thursday and the fallout from it. Got beat in our usual ugly fashion. A lot of show but little substance. They got Jerry crying and making magic wishes (a legendary Super Bowl run?:mjlol:) should tell you all you need to know about this team and the culture surrounding it. Our OWNER crying. Think about that, think about WHY he's crying. His ego is so huge, he's feeling the heat and seeing the results from anointing Jason Garrett some great head coach before he even had the position. Instead of admitting fault or wrong, he continues to pound the decision by sticking with him through years of mediocrity all because his EGO can't allow him to do the right thing and bring in someone experienced...

Our Owner and freaking General Manager considers himself a "football guy" someone with more X's and O's knowledge than real football guys. He doubles down on his own delusion with dumb decisions and moves. His loyalty is a gift and a curse. He's happy as long as the Cowboys are winning HIS way and his way only...THAT's where we are as a team. I don't see it changing until the TOP changes. I won't get excited until I see that...

I DESPISE this fact about this squad

i want goons on my squad. The 2019 Ravens squad is my ideal roster. They have swag, attitude, aggression, and have WAY more playmakers on defense.

Imagine Marcus Peters in this secondary :mjcry:

Id take him and his gambling tendencies over Byron ANY DAY

Orlando clearly just trying to stay in Jerry’s good graces

I feel like a lot of our former players don’t speak out and end up actually supporting the shytshow going on here because of Jerry. Jerry takes care of guys. Training camp invites. Staff positions. Invited to games, events, owners box

There’s a lot of perks for shilling our for Jerry and his product. Almost none for keeping it real

Also Jerry be helping his former players with their businesses as well. It is kind of hard to strike at a guy that will be looking out for you post your football career.
