The record is preventing us from truly appreciating the season he's having. Garrett's blunders have cost the man a legitimate shot at MVP. He'd be in the top 3 if we'd simply won the Jets and Vikings games.
Probably because they haven't really beaten anyone yet. Looking great against the bottom of the barrel teams isn't going to elicit excitement from anyone but fans of said team. When he starts to put up those same numbers against legit teams then he'll get his recognition. The Pats game is where he can start to change the narrative, but if he stinks it up in Foxboro then it is what it is.Real talk
Shame is the play calling failed them. Beat the Patriots and I might have to move up to top 3 anyway (obviously Lamar/Russ are clear top 2 right now)
Dak is on pace for
Passing yards 5,136 34tds 13 ints (a few from Hail Mary's and dropped passes)
Rushing yards 309 5 tds
I've said it before. Garrett and how also how Dak use to throw ducks his first couple of years has formed a bias against Dak. Brehs can't shake how he use to throw passes. Can't even recognize what he's doing now.
hate to say it, jeff heath was missed out there,,,

Naw, team philosophy on offense is what killed Dallas a ton. Going forward, I think Dallas will be more pass first. Dallas has got to move on from player bias. Jarwin is a legit threat. Pollard can be a legit threat. Jarwin speed turning up field has got to be used.
I just found this amusing
Garrett and Marinelli have won just as many games as they cost us. I don't even like them but I'm not going to do the lazy dikk rider thing and give Dak all the credit when we win but none when we lose. Them two have some thing to do with it just like they do when we lose. I think Dak still might be a liability if teams ever worry about stopping the passing game first but for now he's doing his thing and I'll take it.My point was that if we fail to win big, it won't be because of Dak but likely a combo of our crap run defense and coaching.
Dak isn't a liability anymore and he's good enough to consistently make big plays and put you in position to win.
The Packers game was really the only game I'd say he was bad in. Saints are always a defensive struggle game and the Jets game was just the line not being able to protect at all with Collins and Smith out plus Coop and Cobb out.
Garrett/Marinelli etc., have honestly cost us more games than anyone. This is a 7-2 team with solid coaching. 8-1 with great coaching. Packers game should have been a toss up.
instead of Witten catching the ball and standing there waiting for contact... LOL I hope they resign Jarwin..Naw, team philosophy on offense is what killed Dallas a ton. The fact that the corpse of Jason Witten in 2019 is still getting more burn than Blake Jarwin ought to let you know where our problems are. The fact that Pollard, who I hate to say it is more dynamic than Zeke, isn't getting more touches ought to let you know where our problems are. Jordan Lewis is still sitting on the bench while ASSwuzie and Brown have starting spots ought to let you know where our problems are. The fact we don't have a real DT to plug the line and stop the run ought to let you know where our problems are.
Jason should hang it up. I knew him coming back would put jarwin on the back burner, when dude has the size and speed. Witten is a beast when it comes to run blocking, b.u.t. I dont think were a running team no more.Unless Witten is off the team, I doubt Jarwin would re-sign. I dont know if he is unrestricted tho
