I knew a long rehab would be something difficult for a personality like Dez to but I didn't expect him to look this washed.

He look like he would make a dope SAM linebacker..
And I'm not saying that to be funny.
But the problem with Dez was.
1. He never ran great routes.
2. He was limited to the amount out routes he could run which eventually made him easy to defend because.........
3. Once his speed diminished, he couldn't get separation.

sad to say, b.u.t garrett is coming back. where else can jerry get a good yes man ass kisser. no real coach would come here as long as our fake GM interfere every got damn time.
This team will be a force again when Stephen takes control of this franchise.

1. I agree that he was never the sharpest route runner
2. Is that because he couldn't run different routes or was it this notorious bad coaching staff?
T.O who is one of the greatest ever has said numerous times that Garrett limited his skill set by having him run the same 2-3 routes every game. I've always said that Dez could run whatever route you needed him to run, he just never did it consistently enough to make him a threat on the same level as a AB or Julio. That's one of the reason why I want Dez back in the league and under a different staff, because I think he's going to further cement the fact that it's the coaching and not the players who are the problem with this team.

Zeke's biggest issue this season season is his inability to make at least 1 defender miss consistently. Every time he was one on one with a safety during the Giants game he got tackled.
Plain and simple the offensive line got their asses kicked in the run game. From an execution stand point here is one of the biggest mistakes by Connor Williams...his lack of understanding with this combo block cost us 6 points.
Nate Newton and Jesse Holley broke down this play on Hangin' with the Boys.
CW is supposed to establish the combo block with Fred before moving on to the LB. His job is to reach and engage.....annd yeah fail.
Fred is visibly upset as he looks back at the sideline.
connor williams aint it breh's i been saying that since last season, he has good games and most def a lot of bad games.

Dez was different. Before he got cut he hired a "route" coach.
. Dez limited himself as far as what routes he could run.TO's beef was with Witten getting to many targets. They ran the same plays, but witten benefitted the most. IF TO draw one on one coverage, he didnt get targeted or they would call a simple 5 yard out route

Barring two playoff wins, Jerruh wont give him a new contract. He wouldve gotten his contract extended after last season if that were the case...
and im calling it now, Stephen will be WORSE than Jerry

I agree. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but his mental lapses in those key points of the game are inexcusable.
