Sounds like he's just experimenting with down the field throws b/c it's practice but when the real games start he won't even attempt those throws.

Also I love how he acts like "those throws" aren't just routine down the field throws. Man this dude is a fraud. I don't even like how he built a brand around his shook ass talking about I don't throw picks b/c my mom hated them. Nah fool, it's b/c you scary.

Dak's mindset is so fukking odd to me

And somehow as a Black(ish ), 4th round pick playing QB for the Dallas Cowboys in his rookie season....he rallied the fanbase

And then the beloved QB retired...essentially telling Dak, "Hey bro I can't take my spot back, you earned it."

And then he spends 3 years playing "don't fukk up" instead of football...even though he fukks up on a regular basis

It's the football equivalent of running for President...winning...and then being too scared to speak in public

Correction they wouldn’t let him compete for the spot back because we know what would’ve happened and some would’ve been pissed at the time. I know Romo gave that weird speech but it was after they wouldn’t let him compete for the job back not that Dak is a better qb.

That’s what his fans will use regarding his lack of turnovers when discussing duke but subtract his scary play also hurts potential scoring chances too. You don’t have to be Farve with it but you do need to take some chances every now and then and in the games he rarely does that hence why his passing games are average except for a few games in his career. Hell dude still waiting for dudes to mainly get completely wide open before throwing the ball. He QBs like the average Prius driver drives on the highway lol.

If Dak was a pinpoint accurate passer with a noodle arm and "never throw picks" was his thing I would be like okay that's his personality.

But...he's inaccurate as shyt...so every pass he throws is "taking a chance" anyway

Might as well be 50/50 score or int instead of 70/30 5 yard gain or int:kobesad:

He plays "don't fukk up" ball because he knows he can't make those throws.

He knows he can't throw into tight windows. He knows he can't throw deep. He knows he can't make quick reads and get the ball out to the 2nd option with zip in a 5 step drop.

So he doesn't even bother.

And apparently, he doesn't even bother to attempt to improve over the off-season.

Keep in mind this dude was a 4th round pick. For good reason. His arm, his footwork, and his mind are all average to below average.

Yep and his shook ass mentality is why his passer rating and completion % are fools’ gold. This nikka takes the “sure completion” instead of attempting the deep intermediate throws.

This idiot will hold on to the ball, get sacked and fumble, but it doesnt hurt his rating or completion % because those only go down with INTs and incompletions

As far as I can remember they were waiting for Dak to have his nightmare rookie performance to pull him and put Tony back in...

It didn't come until week 15 I think @ NYG with the 3 picks (but to be fair Dez dropped one which got picked, and then ran the wrong route on another) and it was too late at that point.

And even with the way the playoff game started in Green Bay, they had plenty of chances to panic and throw Tony in but Dak even rallied and somehow got us back in that one.

Imo Dak earned his playing time that season for sure.

This dikkhead of a QB wouldnt have as many folks on his neck if he was humble and wasnt a c00n. Its not his fault he has no talent but his cot damn arrogance (shytting on Dez) make real nikkas not fukk with him AT ALL

The game winner to Beasley vs NYG was a fukking DIME. The outside shoulder drop off to Gallup vs Seattle was money...those are just off the top of my head from the end of last year.

Dak will never be a pocket passer. He's an improvising, rollout/bootleg bullshytter ala Russ Wilson (in STYLE only not talent wise)

And for our offensive style that works perfect b/c defenses have to account for him outside of the pocket.

If he could consistently hit open crossing routes or lobs over the top of the d on broken coverage he'd be rich as shyt right now

MLB pitchers do this in spring training all the time. Some get rocked and have inflated ERA's because they experimented with a new pitch or throwing angle.

Then when the regular season rolls around, they'll go with what worked.

It's a new offense and defenses are always ahead of the offenses this time of the year, so Dak deserves the benefit of the doubt.

And that's assuming he even has the guts to actually attempt the pass in the first place, which he rarely ever does.

Both of those are very, very big issues if you're trying to be one of the top 15-20 throwers of a football in the entire world...

There was that play when the back up RB at the time (I think it was Smith) caught a pass in the flat and took it to the house on a pass designed for Dez. When they went to the sideline and the RB coach asked why he didn't go to Dez he said, "for what? to throw another interception?" I ain't fukked with Dak sense
