Kind of a weird game. This was tied 33 all late in the second, before we really took control. Second half was all Hawks, but the three starters being out really showed with how disjointed we were on offense. I'd rest a couple more guys tomorrow vs. BOS. I want us at full strength @TOR & @CHI

:salute: to Handsome, first triple double of his career
Rest Al and Kyle v. Boston.

Yea I'm good with that. Let Kyle sit, let the bench continue to eat. Moose can get better with more minutes at C, and maybe Pero plays so Al can take a night off

Horford goes for a triple double with no supporting cast, Zach Lowe writes a feature article on him being a superstar, and posters on here saying Hawks have no one to carry the team :banderas:

and Al is our 3rd best player:win:
Al is our best player and it's not even close. He's the only player that's not replaceable on this team.

The Atlanta Hawks continue to roll, capping off a 4-0 week with a 120-89 win over the Washington Wizards. Atlanta also beat West contenders Los Angeles and Memphis, as well as a Pistons team that had won seven straight and is 8-1 in its past nine games.

That kind of impressive resume lands you atop most Power Rankings, especially when you're 22-2 since Thanksgiving.

NBA.com - 1st

The Hawks probably could have lost a game last week and still kept the No. 1 spot. Wednesday's home game against Memphis, which took place less than 48 hours after they played in L.A., screamed "schedule loss." But there's just no stopping them right now, though this week's back-to-back in Toronto and Chicago will be another interesting challenge.

ESPN - 1st

The Hawks are up to 22-2 since their 7-6 start and have climbed from 26th overall in defensive efficiency to No. 5. Hollinger's Strength of Schedule table says Atlanta has had an easier ride than all but four teams ... but a league-leading 13 wins over .500-or-better teams tells a different tale.

Sports Illustrated - 2nd

The Hawks may have played their best game yet Sunday, which is a pretty impressive feat for a team that’s won 20 of 22 and eight straight. Atlanta has beaten seven of the top 11 teams during its current run.

CBS Sports - 2nd

THERE IS NO STOPPING THE JUGGERHAWK!

Bleacher Report - 2nd

These are exciting times for the Atlanta Hawks across the board.

Yahoo - 2nd

Atlanta converted non-believers by winning at Portland and at the Clippers, beating Memphis and routing Washington in recent days.

USA Today - 3rd

Whoever buys the Hawks might land a No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference in the first few months.

SB Nation - 2nd

The Hawks continue ransacking the NBA, as they're currently on the longest active winning streak in the league. Home, away, back-to-back, against the Pistons ... it hasn't mattered what the schedule threw the Hawks. They put another very impressive week in the books, ending it with a 30-point rout of the Washington Wizards.
