It provides context to where he comes from. People don't know just how bad he had it coming up. Dude's dad eating his pet dog is something that people should know because it shows how fukked up things are over there.

I understand, but at the same time....why not detail Floyd's hard upbringing as well? Dude literally started from the bottom now he's here (Father addicted to crack and selling it, physically abusing his mother in their house, using baby Floyd as a shield during a gun fight, raised by a single mother while Floyd Sr was sentenced to 5 1/2 years in jail, 7 people living in 1 bedroom that wasnt bigger than one of his closets, etc):manny:

Im tired of hearing about Manny's struggles and them acting like Floyd was raised with a silver spoon in his mouth. If you gonna bring up one Boxer's upbringing, harp on the other one's as well:yeshrug:

Who the hell did Oscar beat at 135 to make you say that??

Ruelas, Molina, Lejia, and Hernandez...Paez was a good victory as well. He KOd 4 of them and beat Molina very clear.:dahell:

Besides, his talent was obvious at 135 with him being a 5'11 lightweight with a 73'' reach and elite boxing skills:what:

On the triple flip side, you're right that Oscar didnt fight like JLC normally........but he actually DID fight like JLC when he fought Floyd, because it was the best style for him and made it too close for comfort, all the while being an old, coke head without his normal trainer Floyd Sr in his corner:sas1:

Imagine Lightweight ODLH implementing JLC's strategy on Lightweight Floyd:sas2:

He did a radio interview about that fight and said that he doesn't remember much of it becuz of how high he was.

And you somehow think that's better than Castillo's resume at 135? Did you say you were a boxing fan?

Are we discussing resumes or talent? I said ODLH was better than JLC which is TALENT:ufdup:

Any REAL Boxing head knows that ODLH was a better Boxer than JLC at 135...this is stupid that I even have to go over this:snoop:

Floyd Mayweather had only 3 fights at 140....Danny Garcia has had 30 fights at 140 and his resume shyts all over Floyd's at 140. Does that mean that Garcia is the more talented fighter at 140?:dahell:

No:ufdup:

DLH was more talented than JLC at 135 and period. Why any boxing fan would argue this is crazy to me. DLH would have never struggled with Stevie Johnston in both fights and then against Casamoyer ...:mjpls:

Floyd Mayweather Sr has warned Manny Pacquiao his son has trained harder for their Saturday showdown than any of his other fights.

Mayweather Sr is convinced the MGM Grand bout will end in a stoppage victory and see Floyd Jr extend his unbeaten record to 48 fights.

“I’m going to give you the honest truth. Floyd may be working a little bit harder than he normally would,” Mayweather Sr said.

“It’s not a strategy, it’s not a plan, it’s nothing. He’s just a normal opponent who is going to get his ass whupped.

“In a situation like this we take it serious. If I see somebody say he’s going to whup me, I’m going to take it serious. He is totally prepared and we’re going to make sure we run Pacquiao out of this town.”

Asked how confident he was in a Mayweather win, Floyd Sr added: “100 percent.”

And pressed about a stoppage, he went a little further, saying only: “110 percent."

Pacquiao appeared to be completely unfazed by the prediction as he arrived in Las Vegas ahead of schedule on Monday night - posing for pictures with his family, all smiles.

Former IBF and WBA welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi is also backing Mayweather, but expects Pacquiao to cause him problems.

And he wonders if a knockout victory will prove possible for the undefeated Mayweather, such is the staying power of the Filipino great.

“Mayweather is favorite and I agree with it, but this is certainly the closest odds you will ever get Floyd Mayweather at,” Malignaggi said.

“Manny Pacquiao hasn’t been an underdog since the Oscar de la Hoya fight, and we saw what happened that night, so you can’t count either of these guys out.

“Manny has been very successful of late, and he has also come up short, but his resiliency makes him very difficult to knock out.”

And Castillo would've never gotten dropped by a fighter named Narciso. I don't go by "talent" unless there is production to back it. Oscar may be a greater fighter overall than Castillo but at 135, JLC is far more accomplished.

:lupe:x1000000000000000000000000000000000000000

I might :dead:

I feel you....

You may not like Floyd Mayweathers personality, but I really respect his fighting prowess. But I really do not want him to lose because the racist whites, Mexicans and anyone who hates black people are going to be throwing a HUGE fiesta on and off the internet. They are not going to let up. Their going to be talking about it forever! You thought it was bad when the Patriots beat the Seahawks. You thought racist whites going on a stampede on the internet was bad when Zimmerman was let off??? Racists been WAITING for Mayweather to lose. Manny is just their front.
