"There is a lot of rumors about my son being stopped and dropped that are a bunch of bullshyt. They damn sure ain't whooped Floyd. The truth of it really is most of those guys could probably whoop Pacman's ass," stated world-class trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., who responded to rumors and recent comments made by rival trainer Freddie Roach and promoter Bob Arum suggesting that undefeated pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather hasn't looked very good in training leading up to the highly-anticipated mega-fight with Manny Pacquiao. According to Mayweather Sr., the truth is exactly the opposite of what's being reported to certain media outlets, who have no access to Floyd's restricted training sessions.
"Lil Floyd has dropped, stopped, and had his way with everyone that has entered the ring so far in this training camp. And he will continue to do so," Mayweather Sr. explained during a recent conversation with FightHype.com. "My son is second to none and number one. He's the best, I must confess. To all the rest, there's no contest. He will shock your mind. He's one of a kind. He's the greatest fighter of all time!"
As a parting gift, Mayweather Sr. recited the latest poem he's been working on for the May 2 showdown:
Hey Manny,
The bigger the headache
The bigger the pill
The bigger the ass whoopin'
The bigger the bill
Come May 2nd, Pac will know how it feel
Pac, you know the man pound for pound
That's gonna whoop yo ass round by round
You don't stand a chance with my son
He is second to none and the chosen one
We are the A-side of this boxing thing
The Mayweathers are the kings of the boxing ring
Swing low like sweet chariot because You will fall
All the belts and props, Floyd takes them all
As for Freddie and Manny and the roaches that follow
Your gym will be empty and your belt will be hollow
In the deep waters, you know you will drown
When you come face to face with The Best Ever pound for pound!
