From my observation Floyd took his foot off the gas middle rounds to make the fight look somewhat competitive even as much as walking hands down begging Manny to look respectable, rounds 11-12 showed what could happen if May turned it up a notch, Manny cant throw a jab without catching a counter jab/check hook

He wanted to knock PacMan out in the 11th round but took his foot off the gas, as you stated. He was throwing HAMMERS in the 11th and looked as if he had all his energy still in the tank.

translation.. Pac wants a 9-12 month vacation to pay his US taxes and enjoy the biggest payday of his career before he fights again.. and hopefully he can get a rematch payday when he is ready to fight.
